Series of thoughts
Extremely complex and it all works
well for years and years. Fixes itself.
(Psalms 139:14) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Precious - Jesus the Rock of Israel died
(1 Corinthians 10:2-4) They were all baptized into Moses in the
cloud and in the sea. They all ate the
same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the
spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
(Acts 2:23) This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and
foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by
nailing him to the cross.
(1 Peter 2:9) But you are a chosen people, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the
praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
(Revelation 17:14) They will make war against the Lamb, but the
Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings--and
with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."
Not so different - In any essential way, there is nothing new under the sun
(Romans 10:12-13) For there is no difference between Jew and
Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
(1 Corinthians 4:6-7) ... "Do not go beyond what is
written." Then you will not take pride in one man over another. For who
makes you different from anyone else?
Same hopes
and fears; temptations and problems; hurts and weaknesses.
(1 Corinthians 10:13) No temptation has seized you except what
is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted
beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way
out so that you can stand up under it.
Not alone - We have in intercessor with the Father
(Hebrews 4:15) For we do not have a high priest who is
unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been
tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin.
(Matthew 28:19-20) Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God and one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
(John 14:18) I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
(John 15:14) You are my friends if you do what I command you.
