(Acts
5:40-42) His speech
persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they
ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. The apostles
left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering
disgrace for the Name. Day after day,
in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped
teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.
(1
Peter 3:15) But in your hearts
set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to
everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
(Galatians
6:10) Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all
people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
(2
Timothy 4:3-5) For the time will come when men will not put
up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather
around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to
hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of
an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Part-time
God
What if He wasn't
there when we needed Him?
What if He wasn't
available to hear our prayers?
Part-time
Savior
What if He came only
to do the fun stuff?
What if He got tired
of being our High Priest?
Part-time
Christians
Deserve all of the
above and all that follows.
Part-time church.
Part-time ministries.
Part-time
congregation.
Part-time Sabbath.
Part-time pastors.
How can this be?
People
just went on strike for full time jobs
Our
wants always seem to be full time
Full
time fathers, mothers, husbands, and wives
We
expect our lights and telephones to be available full time
We
expect those we love to love us in return - FULL TIME
Why
then should it be different in the Church?
Why
shouldn't we have a full time church with a full time ministry and a full time
congregation led by a full time pastor?
Don't
the sheep need a full time shepherd?
Don't
we? Do you really believe God wants us to have less?
Some
say we can't afford a man of God anointed to tend the sheep. I believe we can't
afford to be without one.
There
is always a way for those who trust in the Lord. Come, let us reason together.

Ask not
what your God can do for you. Ask what you can do for your God.
Ask not
what your Church can do for you. Ask what you can do for your Church.
